Pumpkin Bread

Throw away the Apple Cake - Try this !


3c. Sugar
1 u00bd tsp. Salt
3 u00bd c Flour
u00bd tsp. Cloves
1 c. Oil
1 tsp. Cinnamon
4 Eggs
u00bd c. Walnuts, chopped
2 c. Pumpkin pie filling
2/3 c. water
2 tsp. Baking soda

Preheat oven to 350 degrees,
Bake for 1 hour
Combine all ingredients in one large bowl.
Grease two loaf pans. Divide batter and pour into baking pans. You can sprinkle nuts on top and they will roast and add a delicious flavor to the bread.
This pumpkin bread loaf can be made in mini loaf pans as well; they make a great thank you to the hostess gift.
I make it a point not to skimp on my ingredients, I use fresh Pumpkin, fresh eggs, and the rest I purchase top quality, flour, sugar and especially spices.
If yours have been in the pantry for a while, you may want to consider refreshing them for the holidays.
